(Active) calcined kaolin
Calendered kaolin belongs to an environmentally friendly functional filler, is a non-toxic and odorless white pigment, it can replace part of titanium dioxide and all replace Lide powder directly reduce the cost of products.
Properties of calcined kaolin:
Plasticity, adhesion, dispersion, insulation, sintering, flame retardancy, fire resistance, adsorption, weather resistance and chemical stability are outstanding. Our company provides silane-treated active calcined kaolin products in stock, and can customize production of different coupling agent modified active calcined kaolin

Application Fields and Features:
1. In coatings and inks: Whether oil-based or water-based, it serves as a filler matrix with high dispersion capacity, chemical stability, corrosion resistance, fire resistance, scrub resistance, improved mechanical properties of paint films, enhanced coating opacity and weather resistance, durability, heat resistance, opacity, and adsorption capacity. It is used in interior/ exterior wall coatings, premium paints, inks, and line marking paints to directly reduce costs.
2. For rubber products: As a filler in the rubber industry, it improves physical and chemical properties, demonstrating significant reinforcement, electrical insulation, tensile strength, tear resistance, elongation, aging resistance, corrosion resistance, improved solvent immersion with rubber compounds, increased vulcanization hardness and wear resistance, enhanced flexibility and gloss, replacing expensive materials like high-wear-resistant carbon black, ordinary carbon black, white carbon black, silica-alumina carbon black, and magnesium oxide to reduce costs.
3. In ceramics: Ensures products exhibit whiteness, density, excellent surface finish, high mechanical strength, and high yield rates. Suitable for raw materials and glazes of daily-use ceramics, architectural ceramics, chemical corrosion-resistant ceramics, arts and crafts ceramics, sanitary ceramics, and high/low voltage ceramic components.
4. In glass products: Replaces expensive alumina powder, improving product quality and reducing costs when filled into high-white glass products.
5. In plastics: Enhances the strength, whiteness, and electrical insulation of greenhouse films, ground films, cables, PVC pipes (boards), etc., while increasing light transmission through plastic films, blocking infrared radiation, and serving as bulk fillers to reduce costs.
6. Paper making: The use of calcined kaolin can increase the void volume and loose thickness and smoothness of the coating, improve the opacity and elasticity of the paper, improve the ink absorption, gloss and reduce the printing spots.
7. In refractory materials: Used for metallurgical and chemical applications as linings in kilns, high-temperature crucibles for model smelting, and various bricks, tiles, rods, sheets, and specialized refractory materials.
8. In pesticides and petrochemicals: Calcined kaolin particles with micro-pores exhibit strong adsorption properties, making them suitable for pharmaceuticals and pesticides. The neutral composition and high silicon content enable their use in producing silicon fertilizers and feed additives. In petroleum refining, they serve as catalysts to enhance fuel quality.
9. Advanced materials and cutting-edge science: Composite materials containing kaolin combine metallic and non-metallic properties while possessing unique advantages. These materials demonstrate excellent mechanical strength, impact resistance, radiation tolerance, high-temperature endurance, and corrosion resistance. They are therefore widely used in automotive, aerospace, and rocket applications as high-temperature combustion chamber components, nozzles, cylinders, and other specialized ceramic materials.
10. Cosmetics: Used as white pigment in premium skincare products like masks, compact powders, and toothpaste, replacing titanium dioxide to reduce production costs.
